Cut out the top of the cardstock into an M shape. Draw a line down the middle of the shirt. Glue the buttons in a row to the right of the line you drew.

Either cut a tie from the construction paper or use the bottom of the tie you already have. Glue the top of the tie to the card so the rest can move easily.

Fold down the collar that you made in the M shape. Glue the remaining buttons on top of each side of the collar. Write a message to your dad on the tie, the underside of the tie, or the area of the card that the tie covers.
